The National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, NILDS, in conjunction with National Assembly Service Commission, NASC has conducted confirmation and promotion examination for the bureaucratic staff of National Assembly and National Assembly Service Commission.

The Examination, which was held at Public Service Institute of Nigeria , Kubwa expressway, Abuja, over the weekend had about 1,600 staff of both institutions as participants.

The Chairman, NASC, Engr. Ahmed Kadi Amshi, Clerk to the National Assembly, Architect Ojo Olatunde Amos, DG, NILDS, Prof. Abubakar O. Sulaiman and Commissioners of NASC monitored the examination.

It would be recalled that NILDS and NASC on September 2020, at a courtesy visit to the commission by DG, NILDS and some of the Management team opened talks on the feasibility of innovative, positive and timely solutions to the dearth of knowledge and capacity in the Commission as well as the National Assembly bureaucracy.
