Drivers' Welfare Paramount to the Overall Wellbeing of any Focused Organisation- Prof. Sulaiman
The Director General, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, Prof. Abubakar Sulaiman, at a meeting with the Drivers in the Institute has reiterated the need to acknowledge the roles and contributions of every section of the workforce to the overall well-being of any organisation.
While assuring them that their welfare will henceforth be of paramount importance to the management of the Institute, Prof. Sulaiman promised to create a transport division soon for easy administration and specific handling of matters concerning the drivers and vehicle maintenance.
The drivers, who expressed joy at the recognition and consideration accorded them, made pleas on welfare and training among other requests.
The highlight of the meeting was the prayers and encomiums showered on the DG for his exemplary leadership.
