DG, NILDS, Professor Abubakar Sulaiman Meets Management
The Director General of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, Professor Abubakar Sulaiman, during his inaugural meeting with the staff on managerial cadre at the Institute presented his appointment letter in which his resumption with immediate effect was clearly stated and signed by the President of the Senate and Chairman, Governing Council of NILDS, Dr. Bukola Saraki.
While, promising to consolidate past achievements, improving existing structure and boosting research output in order to take the Institute to greater heights, he called for the support of all the staff in enhancing the excellence NILDS is known for.
Abubakar warned against plagiarism, absenteeism and acrimony of any sort; he urged staff to exhibit unity of purpose in ensuring that the Institute becomes a world class knowledge hub and capacity building Institute.
While doing the vote of thanks, the representative of the Director, Finance and Administration and Deputy Director, Finance, Mshelia Ibrahim welcomed the DG and assured him of the full support of the Management and staff of the Institute who have eagerly looked forward to the event.
