“Since the return of Nigeria to democratic rule, the legislature has developed its own unique terminologies which formed a vital element in the design of new legislative manual for Clerks of Committees; the manual was conscientiously developed to deepen the understanding of the technical and operational workings of the Committees”, these were the words of the Director General, National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies, Prof. Ladi Hamalai on Monday, November 3, 2018 during a 2-Day training workshop organized for Clerks of various Standing Committees of the National Assembly.
