Transformational Leadership Takes Front Burner At The Training For Senior Staff Of NILDS
The senior staff of the National Institute for Legislative and Democratic Studies began a training program on Leadership on a high note when the resource Person, Dr. Goke Adegoroye who is well versed in civil service reform having served in different capacities in the Nigerian Civil Service and as Permanent Secretary in various ministries before his retirement took the participants through practical examples and antidotes in achieving the best as civil/public servants.
The Director General of the Institute, Prof. Ladi Hamalai in her remarks said leadership is a common currency, something practiced on all levels; however, being aware of all the elements that make an astute individual will in the long run form a successful and impactful leader.
While making the opening remarks, the Director, Finance and Admin. of the Institute, Dr. Kabir Ahmed said the idea of the training program is to stimulate the staff in the leadership positions at the Institute to accelerate performance and strengthen the Institute.
